It is interesting how new things get made. Usually comes from solving a problem or filling a need that has been there all along. Breaking new grounds with things that just seem to last. I feel its a great time to start something that I wanted for a long time. A lovely way to break old habits and start great new ones. Stop being distracted with all the different impulses we encounter daily and redefine what is needed and what goals we actually are chasing.

A small introduction would be in place I guess. I am Michael a 30 year old IT guy with a passion for everything that creates and gives experiences. Always have had issues with focusing on the things I want and get distracted by the things everybody gets distracted by nowadays. No more procrastinating and finding a way to get the focus back. It will be tough but hopefully by writing it off and finding other adventurers we will achieve.

Starting fresh starts with getting a new workspace. I am just finished installing Elementary OS. A lovely Ubuntu based OS that will look and feel familiar to OSX. So far it has been a great experience and will remove a lot of the clutter I get with my lovely old pal Windows. It will take some time getting used to all the different options but so far I have found all that I need. I possibly would need to figure out how to get my Unity working on this but after reading State of Unity in Linux it cannot be too far away now. After that I would need to find out how I can get my Oculus DK2 working so I can start playing around with my other hobby game development. Creating actual persistence.

But before all that it is time to work some magic on the design of this new page. Time to do some coloring and painting. Making it more like home. Will update every 2 days or so with new challenges, new found riches and new habits to create. Time to be persistent.
